  • Founder

    Robert is the founder of Brandland and has 30 years experience as a brand strategist, with the global agency Wolff Olins and as a Norfolk-based independent.

    At Wolff Olins, he helped over 70 organisations, in the UK and globally, to build their brands – including Aviva, Barclays, Camelot, Historic Royal Palaces, Oxfam, PwC, National Trust, Tate, Tesco, Virgin And Wikipedia.

    In 2008 he joined Norwich Business School where he set up the world’s only MSc in Brand Leadership. Over 90% of the MSc graduates go on to get jobs in branding, from Alibaba to Virgin, Google to L’Oréal, Interbrand to FITCH.

    Robert is Professor of Brand Leadership at the University of East Anglia, and author of The Big Idea and Branding: A Very Short Introduction.

  • CEO

    Claire has over 20 years of marketing experience and a deep passion for branding and all things creative.

    Her background is in integrated-marketing, agency-side in London, having held long tenures at Iris Worldwide and Momentum, plus numerous freelance roles in between. Claire has worked for a variety of clients, from big blue-chip companies to small independent start-ups alike, including brands such as Sony, American Express and Bacardi, helping them to achieve their goals. Claire is also a freelance marketing consultant working with agencies and brands to define their goals, deliver impactful work and drive business growth.

  • Events and Community Coordinator

    Prior to joining Brandland, Matthew completed an internship in UEA’s Corporate Marketing Team, where he worked on student recruitment content across the university website and social media, as well as supporting with brand management.

    Matthew recently spent a year as Chair of the Student Publication Association, where he led the delivery of a national conference and refined the charity’s brand identity. He is also currently a Young Producer with English Heritage.
