Brandland 2.0

If you joined us at our conference earlier this year, you’ll already have heard whispers about where we’re heading next.

Brandland has been going strong for five years now. Powered by the brilliant support of UEA, from volunteers and apprentices through to colleague partnerships and, most recently, government funding, that’s allowed us to bring some part-time team members on board. Together, that’s enabled us to keep growing our programme and our community.

Now it’s time for the next chapter. And it’s a big one.

Here’s just some of what’s coming up over the next two years:

  • The very first Brandland Exhibition & Awards, showcasing and celebrating the incredible work created by our members

  • Brand new masterclass training courses, designed to give our members access to top-level skills and insights

  • More chances to share your work, practice your pitch and get valuable feedback with our new Pitch Slam sessions

  • A members-only online space, packed with perks, a directory and a jobs board

  • 18 new events, sharing the freshest creative expertise from brands, agencies and independents across our region

  • The return of the Brandland Conference you know and love

  • Creative Futures, our schools project inspiring the next generation of creatives

  • Working with local government and education partners to help shape the city’s creative economy

To make this happen, we’re evolving. Brandland is becoming a not-for-profit community interest company, giving us a stronger foundation to deliver our mission for the long term.

But here’s the truth: we can’t do it without support.

We’re now looking for sponsors to partner with us, helping secure Brandland for the next two years and beyond. Without this, we simply won’t be able to keep delivering the programme our community has grown to love.

In return, our sponsors will enjoy a range of brilliant benefits, plus the chance to be part of something that’s genuinely making a difference to the creative landscape in our region.

If you’d like to be part of it, reach out to Alice at alice.c.rose@uea.ac.uk  We’d love to talk.
